POISONOUS FUNGI

Every year, in spite of repeated warnings, people die from eating poisonous fungi. Also, some people are allergic to moulds and fungi and can become quite ill almost immediately or within 12 hours eating. These day's blood test can identify allergies. Death however, emphasizes the importance of identifying unknown fungi as edible before putting them into your mouth.

Fungi are often spectacular in colour and shape - to attract attention. Be careful when handling them as the dangerous effects can be absorbed through the skin -  so protect our hands with gloves.
