Throughout the year, the Australian Mushroom Growers issues news releases to inform the media about campaigns, new recipe leaflets and products. Questions about news releases should be directed to the AMGA on (02) 4577 6877; or email us.

IMAGE LIBRARY

To coincide with new recipe leaflet releases, the AMGA provides media outlets with a CD containing images and recipes which can be directly downloaded for publication. Media representatives wishing to obtain copies of the leaflets and/or the CD should contact the AMGA's Promotion Co-ordinator in their state.

In addition you can download photos of production methods and mushroom varieties.

Increasing consumption of mushrooms is a major focus of the Australian Mushroom Grower's charter. To help meet that end, AMGA has a website for the publication at wwww.cookingwithmushrooms.com. This site contains a full catalogue of mushroom recipes. Fact sheets about storage, preparation and other important mushroom information is also available.

The industry also has a brand new Health and Nutrition Information Library: Mushroom for Life
