Mushroom Mania is held annually in June and provides food service establishments with the opportunity to:

  • Enhance their professional profile
  • Generate national, state and local publicity for chefs and their establishment
  • Win some great prizes by entering the Best Menu using Mushrooms competition

The campaign is open to all food service establishments including: pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and company cafeterias.

Participants can also receive, upon request, promotional materials such as recipe leaflets for their customers, recipe leaflet stands and posters.

2006 Mushroom Madness Retailer of the Year Awards

The reputation of a number of retailers as the place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables was further enhanced with a win in the inaugural Australian Mushroom Growers’ 2006 Mushroom Retailer of the Year Awards. The stores were selected through a professional, independent mystery shopper program, which judged stores on the basis of mushroom quality, range, display, knowledge and point-of-sale displays.
